Abhishekam to all Nagar statue in Temple. Naga Panchami is a popular Hindu festival celebrated in India. It is celebrated in most of the parts of the country. However the celebrations are at its best in Bengal, Maharashtra and Southern part of the country. The tradition of worshipping snake is very long in India, even before the arrival of Aryans in India. The five Nagas that are worshipped on Nag Panchami are Ananta, Vasuki, Taxak, Karkotaka and Pingala. The Pooja of Nag Panchami is done on the similar lines in all the parts of the country. The snake god is offered milk and turmeric on this day and prayed on this day.
